With the desire to make music that reflects who he is and how his story fits into the world around him, Arron is always honing and shaping his creativity through both audio and visual offerings.
Mixing a raw, emotive foundation with modern digital elements, Sans pushes himself to keep moving forward with his mission statement, ‘write record, release and repeat’. Evolution and growth drive him to create bigger and better with each creation.
“It’s fun sculpting and growing into my own shape. I’m always keen to entertain people with more than just the music. I love how the digital world enables us to express ourselves in so many ways. I’m really excited about what tomorrow will bring…”
This journey began when he met visual artist, illustrator, and designer, BELENCHUK who inspired and encouraged him to have faith and trust in his own abilities as a creative. Her artwork captures the message and mood of Sans’ music effortlessly, which has a lot to do with the fact that their partnership runs deeper than creative collaboration.
“She gave me that nudge to just go for it! I was always song writing and fronting bands, but it was always ‘safe’ because you’re in a group! Now, being in the spotlight alone can be unnerving, but I believe that if something scares you, you should probably do it!”
The couple have been sharing a lot with the online community, live streaming and entertaining, they’ve created a selection of powerful music videos to accompany some of the singles released and have also been sharing snippets of their home life together. For the release of his debut album, ‘Print On Demand’ they performed together live on stage, her painting while he sang. He hopes that in the future they will be able to develop a compelling experience combining art & music, in a form of immersive theatre.
Sans’ goal is to shape dreams into reality, creatively inspired by a broad range of artists in music and beyond, particular favourites are Peter Gabriel, Trent Reznor and the likes of Francis Bacon or Vivienne Westwood, who all bring intense character and a different outlook on life in everthing they’ve created.
“I’ve always admired artists who have a deeper message, I’m keen to entertain people with more than ‘just the music’, it makes a lot of sense to add a big visual presence to a stage show, and Polina’s style really connects with the songs I’m writing. I’m certain we will continue to grow and create even more imaginative and exciting things.”
Having released a number of singles, Arron now proud to announce his debut album, ‘Print On Demand’, produced by Paul Tipler (Unit 13 Studios), a local hero in Camden, London and old friend of his. The pair committed to regular studio time and have honed an exciting indie electro pop rock album. Released under ‘LA Earth’, a subsidiary of ‘Love Anarchy Records’.
The home grown label provides distribution as well as an open and encouraging creative freedom. Joining the LA roster means he is able to continue to grow and develop as an independent artist whilst supported by his good friends, and label founders, Will Rogers and Maria Samenhof.
“I’ve learned so much and had so much encouragement from everyone around me. It means I get to create and entertain which is all I’ve ever wanted to do. With ‘LA Earth’ I can keep doing this the way I want, they help me to share it with the world”
Other releases have been produced by Sans himself, using the knowledge shared by Tipler and taking that into his own home studio he’s been able to develop even more.
“I want to do more! I want to keep developing myself as a musician and as an artist, by staying busy creating and exploring, it’s what I enjoy about the modern music world. I always feel that I’ve got to keep moving forward. I want to keep challenging myself, break out of my comfort zones and grow the talents I have.”
What does the future hold for Arron Sans, more creation clearly, but his main focus is promoting his debut album, ‘Print On Demand’ with live shows, further releases and music videos.
